Identifikasi Risiko Potensi Bahaya K3 menggunakan Metode FMEA di UKM Silver 999 Kota Malang (CD + Cetak)
Potential hazard is something that has the potential for an incident to result in losses. Meanwhile, Risk is a combination of the consequences of a dangerous event and the chance of the event occurring. The purpose of this research is to identify the three greatest potential hazards that can occur and can cause losses by using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and the proposed improvements in SME Silver 999. Determination of the risk of potential hazards is carried out using a questionnaire and is calculated using the Risk value. Priority Number (RPN), namely the multiplication of the Severity, Occurance and Detection values. Based on the RPN value, it can show the value of the hazard risks that occur and improvements can be made to reduce the potential and risk of hazards. The results showed that the highest risk of potential hazards that occurred in SME Silver 999 was acid smoke arising from immersion of hot silver into water at the smelting work station with a value of RPN = 905, the second highest risk of potential hazard was the occurrence of hand whack during the drilling process at the station. assembly work with a value of RPN = 764.5, and the third highest potential hazard is the occurrence of injuries due to bouncing off the product flakes at the polishing work station with a value of RPN = 774. The proposed improvement to combat acid fumes which are hazardous to workers is to install an acid fume hood at the smelting workstation with the right suction strength and equipped with a Charcoal filter and a Hepa filter. Then to overcome the hand injury in the drilling process is to replace the hanging drill which is now being implemented in UKM with a Sit drill. Meanwhile, to overcome wounds caused by bouncing silver flakes during the polishing process is to install protective equipment
on the polishing machine and use PPE on workers.
