Based on the reality, a student must have more skills, knowledge and experience to find jobs. To face the competition in looking for job, the D-III English Program students are given On The Job Training Program (OJT). This Program equips them with sufficient working experiences to be socialized to public at their OJT place to those outside. To learn how to handle customer service professionally, the writer has chosen “ Taman Rekreasi Sengkaling” (TRS), a branch of PT Taman Bentoel as her On the Job Training (OJT) venue. The writer has chosen the title because she was assigned as a customer service. Therefore, the writer gave the following title “Handling Jobs on Customer Service at Taman Rekreasi Sengkaling, in Malang” for her final report. There were several main jobs of customer service, such as accepting and filing guest’s book, announcing the facilities, inputting data of cigarettes into computer, doing the dealing of the parking ticket and accepting telephone from the visitors. When the writer was positioned as customer service, she found both internal and external problems. However, she could solve those problems by asking her senior and reading some references. According to the writer, OJT program can be a means of self adjustment process to build a good work ethic for the students. In addition, from this OJT program students are expected to be more responsible and professional on their jobs. In other words, this program is aimed to prepare the students who will enter work environment and handle the problems that might emerge in the future. The writer expects that D-III English Program can enhance the educational system for better graduates in the future.
