Perancangan Aplikasi Data Penjualan Sales Forecast Rokok di Perusahaan Distributor XYZ Berbisnis MS Excel dan VBA (CD + Cetak)
Forecasting (Forecast) is a method for estimating a value in the future using past data. This research was conducted at Xyz Cigarette Distributor Company. In this study, the author discusses the analysis and application of sales forecasting for cigarette sales using cigarette sales data, forecasting is carried out using two methods, namely the Moving Average method and the Exponential Smoothing Adapter Parameter method by comparing the smallest error rate, as well as the level of graphic precision. diagram, the chosen forecasting method is the Moving Average method, with an MSE value of 4286267.8. From the data processing analysis that has been carried out based on the selected forecasting method, forecasting sales of the most sold cigarette products is in January with a forecast of 15022, meaning that the xyz cigarette distributor company sells the most cigarettes in January. And by utilizing Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Macro information can be available quickly when needed as a basis for decision making. With the application of applications in business processes, it makes it easier for admins and employees in xyz cigarette distributor companies to carry out a more optimal recording process.
