Perancangan Desain Stasiun Kerja yang Ergonomis menggunakan Metode Reba pada Bagian Finishing di UKM Silver 999 (CD + Cetak)
The silver industry in Indonesia has the advantage of a long history, most craftsmen run it from generation to generation, among others, by traditional methods, especially for carving (handmade). SME Silver 999 is a gold and silver handicraft business in Malang City. SME Silver 999 produces quality jewelry products with unique designs that are made manually or handmade. In the jewelry production process at SME SILVER 999 before the product is ready to be displayed, the product needs to go through the finishing work station, because in the flattening process at the bending workstation and the assembly process, the jewelry is still coarsely textured and pale in color. So that every product that is produced needs to pass through the finishing work station. However, the finishing work station at UKM SILVER 999 has not fulfilled the ergonomic aspects, in terms of the height of the polishing table, the absence of a front section cover, the lack of lighting and the location of the polishing eyes. Based on these problems, the authors aim to make a design proposal for an ergonomic and safe finishing workstation design (polishing machine box) for SME SILVER 999 using the REBA method.
