Industrial competition in Indonesia is increasing with growing customer needs, both industrial companies engaged in services and manufacturing, especially in terms of facility layout and the physical environment. Based on the survey results, UKM Silver 999 will redesign the production floor because some of the equipment used is replaced with new ones to make it easier to carry out the production process and there is an uncomfortable physical environment for workers in less lighting and hot air temperatures. To solve the problem in UKM Silver 999, it can be resolved through redesigning the layout of the facilities at the work station with a systematic layout planning approach assisted by BLOCPLAN 90 software and a proposal to improve the physical work environment using the Indoor Health and Comfort (IHC) approach. From the design of the facility layout on the Production floor at SME Silver 999, it was found that the layout of the new layout was improved by reducing the distance of the ring production line from the previous 51.35 meters to 23.005 m (reduction in distance of 55%). The proposal to improve the physical environment at UKM Silver 999 in
lighting in the assembly area requires repair of a work lamp that has a 13 watt lamp power equipped with a dimmer and a finishing work station requires a 5 Watt energy saving lamp. For the proposal to improve thermal comfort, it is necessary to add 1 CKE exhaust fan measuring 10 inches with an air capacity of 685 CMH.
