Hubungan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) dengan Produktivitas Kerja Karyawan Menggunakan Metode Rank Spearman di Bagian Pabrikasi PG Kebon Agung Malang (CD + Cetak)
Occupational Safety and Health (K3) must be the top priority of a company, but not
all companies understand the importance of K3 and know how to implement it well in a
company environment. Company losses due to weak implementation of K3 are very large,
namely disruption of the production process and repair of damaged production equipment
due to work accidents and companies losing opportunities to gain profits due to low
employee productivity.
PG Kebon Agung Malang has implemented K3 because the company realizes that all
employees have the right to get safety and health insurance. Workforce protection from
occupational hazards and diseases or the consequences of the work environment is needed by
employees so that employees feel safe and comfortable in completing their work. A healthy
workforce will work productively so that it is expected that employee work productivity will
increase which can support company productivity so that it will have an impact on company
profits.
The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of the K3 program, to
know the work productivity of the employees, to know the relationship between the K3
program and the work productivity of the employees. Data collection was carried out through
questionnaires, interviews and observations. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and
relationship analysis. Analysis of the relationship between the application of K3 and
employee work productivity was carried out by using the Spearman Rank correlation test
method using SPSS 13.0 for windows software.
Based on the results of distributing questionnaires, the average score for the
application of K3 was 4.36, while the average score for employee work productivity was
4.25. The results showed that all the tested K3 factors had a positive, very real and
correlated relationship with employee work productivity with a correlation value of 0.386.
