Pelayanan Kartu Tanda Penduduk Elektronik (E-KTP) (Di Kantor Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Malang (CD + Cetak)
KTP is a personal identity of someone who lives in a place. In accordance with Law number 23 of 2016 article 63 paragraph 1 which reads that residents of Indonesian citizens and foreigners who have a permanent residence permit who are seventeen years old or have married or have been married are required to have a KTP. According to Siswosoediro (2008: 30): Identity card (KTP) is a general identity document and must be owned by every citizen is an identity card (KTP). From this opinion, it is known that the identity card (KTP) is the official identity of the resident as evidence issued by the implementing agency that is valid throughout Indonesia.
Public services are a strategic point in the development of good governance. One of the government's duties is the service of making identity cards (KTP) and in its implementation is closely related to the rights of every Indonesian citizen. As stated by Masrin (2013: 68), one of the general tasks of government is the population administration system, which in its implementation is closely related to civil rights or civil rights of the population. The government never gets tired of providing the latest innovations in public services as a service to society.
The government as the party in charge of managing the population system in Indonesia, in this case the Ministry of Home Affairs, is implementing the latest program, namely e-KTP. Making e-KTP is based on the background of the conventional KTP making system in Indonesia which allows a person to have more than one KTP.
Descriptive study is the method used in this research. Descriptive study is an exploratory study that focuses on examining the research location as a pre-condition for obtaining accurate information about services in making e-KTP at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Malang City. Jl. Major General Sungkono, Arjowinangun, Kec. Kedungkandang, Malang City, East Java.
As a result of this research, in general, the service of making eKTP in the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Malang City is carried out well, starting from work productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, service quality and employee independence, all synergize. The agency is quite responsible, transparent, friendly, fast in serving, timeliness of service is in accordance with applicable regulations and is free of charge.
