This study aims to conceive and describe the conception of convict adjustment at Penitentiary in Malang. The method is used in this research is qualitative with collect the data by observation and interviews. The subject is two convict who occupied a special clinic cell with a sentence of more than five years in prison. Validity data test is done by triangulation method. The results of this study was indicate that the two of subjects has a problems with self-adjustment. The impact caused is sociable difficulties, low self-esteem and introvert, and they do has a physical disorder like sleeping, headaches, anxiety and pain in the neck to the lower back. The first subject tends to have a low adjustment, that things indicated by the effort to hurt themselves till intentions to self-immature. While the second subject though seemed more passive in his daily life, he was able to control himself so as not to harm himself.
