The aim of this study is to understand and know the self-esteem of early adult women who have experienced dating violence (Dating Violence). The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenological research, the subject in the study These are 5 subjects, namely GA, BK, AS, FT, DS. And 5 informants (the subject's boarding partner). The research chosen setting was the subject boarding house in urban and rural areas in Malang, East Java. The research data collection method used primary data, namely data obtained through the results of interviews with informants, the data source of this study was selected research participants purposively and used techniques. The data validity test was carried out by the method, namely by comparing the results of the subject's interviews with the informants. The data analysis technique used categorization tables and the coding of the data interview themes was verified by triangulating the primary data as a result of the study. The results of phenomenological research on the self-esteem of early adult women who experience violence in dating (Dating Violence), namely psychological, threat, physical, sexual violence. Factors causing individual violence, personality disorders, in relationships, the three psychological, social, physical impacts, the fourth is the existence of self. Low esteem includes: feeling depressed, withdrawn, afraid, self-hating, less able to accept oneself, high self-esteem includes: being more assertive, creative and imaginative. dating relationship.
