Perbedaan Kecerdasan Emosi Remaja Pengemar Musik Poppunk dengan Remaja Penggemar Musik Folk (CD + Cetak)
Adolescence now has a high interest in music. Teenagers can spend more than 2-5 hours every day listening to music. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in emotional intelligence of adolescent fans of poppunk music and folk music. Music is divided into two groups, namely loud music (heavy) and soft music (light). Each music raises different emotions to each listener. The sample of this research is adolescents aged 18-22 years, amounting to 60 people, with 30 teen poppunk music fans and 30 teen folk music fans, taken with purposive sampling technique. In this study, there were 67 incoming data and only 60 subjects were taken for research. The dependent variable is emotional intelligence. The method of taking data with the scale of emotional intelligence. Data analysis method with independent sample t-test technique. The average value of emotional intelligence in adolescent poppunk music fans is 121.4, in adolescent folk music fans is 146.1. Statistical test results, the value of p value (0.000)
