Horses are a type of large livestock which is characteristic of Sumba because horses are animals used in horse racing competitions, Pasola's annual cultural events and also local customaryevents. The charm of Sumba is an attraction for tourists to visit Sumba Island. This has resulted in an increase in the number of tourists visiting Sumba Island. The Government of West Sumba Regency has a plan to develop a livestock area with the aim of encouraging the community to develop livestock, which in this case is specifically for horse livestock. However, until now in West Sumba Regency, there are no facilities that accommodate horse riding activities with the aim of development efforts by the community and also as a tourist attraction for tourists. The design objectives, the ii project aims: 1) to become a vehicle for equestrian activities; 2) realizing a design that suits the needs of equestrian activities; 3) presenting a creative and educational design of the Humba Horse Riding Center; 4) support the community in efforts to raise horse livestock. The theme used in the design of the Humba Horse Riding Center is Neo Vernacular Architecture.
