Kristu rei tourism is one of the tours that has a contribution to the economy of Timor Leste and also a contribution of tourism to national development in the form of providing
employment, other economic activities and foreign exchange income for the country. The city of Dili is the capital city in Timor Leste which has various tourism activities and has enormous potential in the tourism sector compared to other districts. Christian rei Dili is one of the tourist objects being planned by the local government, therefore this Kristurei beach area is included in the allotted area for natural tourism in the form of religious tourism / religious tourism for the statue of Christ the King As an icon of the city of Dili, it is located in a strategic area and has the potential for tourists who come. Tourists can also do recreational activities on the beach, such as enjoying the sunset and sunrise panoramas, sunbathing, playing with sand, and so on.On this beach there are also various kinds of vegetation which will make the atmosphere cooler and support accessibility. Behind the variety of potential, the arrangement and management of the Christ the King Statue Tour has not been carried out optimally and meets the standards of religious tourism. The minimum supporting facilities for Kristu Rei tourism is tourists do not feel at home for long to enjoy or have recreation in that place. Seeing the condition of Kristu rei Dili Tourism which has great potential, it is necessary to present the planning and design of supporting facilities in the Kristurei area. All tourism activities and can take advantage of the potential of the surrounding conditions to support regional tourism development.
The potential of Kristu Rei tourist attractions that attracts foreign and local tourists, namely the beauty of beautiful white sand beaches and also a statue of Christ the King as an icon of the city of Dili in Timor-Leste.
