Meat processing machine is one tool that is fast to shape the meat into thin flakes. The research
objective is to redesign the shape of the turtle blade from a cylindrical shape into a box. The basic
method used in this research is a quantitative approach. The results of the analysis on the shaft shows
that the transmitted power (P) of ½ HP = 0.373 kW with a rotation of 700 rpm, twisting moment (T) =
519 kg.mm, tensile stress material ST 60 (σt) = 60 kg / mm2, stress allowable shear (
