Analisis Proses Sterilitasi Produksi Infus pada Mesin Autoklaf PT. Otsuka Indonesia (CD + Cetak)
Shinva autoclave sterilization, Sterilization is the process of destroying all forms of bacterial life which
are classified into two physically and chemically. Sterile materials can be in the form of liquids, gases, or
electromagnetic radiation. This classification is not under pressure, for the purpose of decontamination or
sterilization. Decontamination is the reduction of pollution to a level where it is no longer a danger to
people or the environment. Meanwhile sterilization is the total destruction of these microorganisms
absolute because sterilization physically produces chemicals, and creates heat and osmotic pressure. The
oldest sterilization process is destruction by heating using fire or steam generated by water vapor so that
it can be said that the classical sterilization medium is the heat of water which includes boiling hot water
vapor. An autoclave is a sterilizer designed to provide heat. This will only happen if the material is heated
to a specific temperature for a certain period of time. The parameters will vary depending on the nature
of the microorganism and the characteristics of the object to be sterilized itself. This gravity displacement
type autoclave utilizes relief from hot water vapor which is transferred based on gravity. The temperature
specified is 121°C and 132°C with the time used according to sterilization needs. The manufacture of this
modification tool uses a Siemens S7-200 PLC as the main controller for the entire circuit. The temperature
and time results will be displayed on the HMI. Based on the temperature measurement of the thermocouple
stick, the reading value of the display at the temperature setting of 121°C for 15 minutes has an error of -
0.003%, at the temperature setting of 132°C for 15 minutes it has an error of -0.003%. While the
temperature measurement of the calibrator (data logger), the reading value of the display at 133 ° C for
15 minutes has an error of 0.004%. Discussion of the number of results For the results of the number of
per cycle 1 shelf contains 18 steppers, 1 stepper contains 24 bags (18 x 25 = 432) 1 cycle of at least 7
racks (432 x 7 = 3024 bags. Discussion of temperature and time if using 1050C temp and 40 minutes from
the results of this study it is less effective for intravenous fluids because not all bacteria are killed and not
for a long time, so for 500 ml asering products using 1060C temp with 45 minutes as production operations.
that this modified tool is suitable for use and suitable for use in the sterilization process in accordance
with the results of the study.
