Pengaruh Lapisan Kerak pada Pipa Superheater Boiler Yoshimine Dintinjau dari Performance dan Efisiensi Termal pada Alat Superheater (CD + Cetak)
Superheater is one of the components of a boiler that has a crucial function, superheater functions to produce superheated steam which is used to drive turbines. Water vapor flowing into the superheater pipe will have a heat transfer in the pipe. The water vapor in the superheater pipe is not always clean, therefore there is often a sediment inside the superheater pipe. The longer the deposits will form the crust, the crust will affect the performance of the superheater tool. The purpose of this study was to determine how much the effect of the scale layer on the superheater in terms of performance before and after the scale was present. The results of the study showed that the heat absorbed in the superheater pipe in a clean state averaged 25.37kW, while the heat absorbed in the superheater pipe in a dirty or crusty state averaged 11.6kW. From these figures it can be seen that the heat in the clean state is higher than the heat in the dirty state and the heat loss that occurs on average is 12.3 kW. Superheater efficiency is on average 48.35%, therefore the superheater pipe must be replaced immediately or cleaned when overhouled.
