Analisis Proses Produksi Mesin Poles untuk Proses Metalografi (2019-2020) (CD + Cetak)
Metallography aims to measure the study of microstructural materials. The microstructure analysis of a material helps us determine if a material has been processed correctly and is therefore an important step in determining product reliability and for determining why a material has failed. There are several grooves that must be done, namely mounting, grinding, polishing, etching. After several steps, the observation is carried out using a microscope. Of these several process lines, the polishing and grinding processes are the most important parts for making the surface of the sample material smooth so that it can be observed. In this process using a polishing machine which has the main components in the form of a motor, metal plate, and water tap, so a metallographic test polishing machine was created to make it easier to do a metal test practicum. The purpose of this study was to determine the sequence of the production process and the time of manufacture of a polishing machine and to simplify the process of making a polishing machine for optimal metallographic test processes. The results of the production process are divided into 4 parts. first, making the whole frame takes 172.7 minutes in the production process, the second making the specimen gripping tool takes 32.06 minutes in the production process, the third making the polishing tool it takes 510.81 minutes in the production process. the components and cover of the engine cover it takes time in the production process 290.21.
