Analisis Pengaruh Ketinggian Bangunan Terhadap Gaya Gempa Dasar, Periode Getar, dan Simpangan Lantai pada Banguanan Bertingkat Rendah dan Tinggi (CD + Cetak)
Increased development in Indonesia has resulted in a diminishing availability of land. Therefore, vertical development is a solution in overcoming these problems. However, Indonesia, which is located in an earthquake prone area, has resulted in buildings with high heights at risk of serious damage. This study aims to analyze the influence of building heights on the basic earthquake force, period of vibration, and floor deviation in low and high rise buildings.
The building structure being modeled is a regular building, with various height of the building, configuration of mass and stiffness. The structure model consists of a building with a height of 26.2 meters as a low-rise building with a total of 6 floors, 38.8 meters as a variable control building with a total of 9 floors, and 51.4 meters as a high-rise building with a total of 12 floors. Whereas the mass and stiffness configuration consist of different masses and the same stiffness (DMSS) and different masses and different stiffnesses (DMDS). In this study, earthquake load analysis was carried out with spectrum response analysis based on SNI 1726-2012 and using SAP2000 V20 software.
The analysis shows that the higher a building, the dynamic response of building structures has increased. This is due to an increase in mass in the building. Buildings with DMDS mass and stiffness configurations have smaller basic seismic forces, longer vibration periods and larger floor deviations compared to buildings with DMSS mass and stiffness configurations. The same thing happened to buildings that have the same height, with the configuration of the mass and stiffness of the DMDS, which was found to have a smaller base seismic force, longer vibration period and larger floor deviation.
Keywords : Building Heights, Base Shear, Vibration Period, floor deviation (drift).
