Bank X Cabang Ahmad Yani Kota Malang is a Bank which engaged in providing loans in the form of credit that aims to help underfunded communities around Malang City. The main cause of the non-performing loans is the mistakes of the Bank that is not acurate in analyzing the background of the prospective customer, so that the purposes and the sources of credit repayments cannot be clearly recorded. The low level of customer education and lack of communication between customer and Bank cause no-performing loans.
From the result of the research, the delivery of notification letters and warning letters are just for the fulfillment of the initial steps of non-performing loan settlement procedures at Bank X Cabang Ahmad Yani Kota Malang. Furthermore, the bank has to do on the spot so that delinquent credit can be paid off immediately. The restructuring effort that can be implemented is the changing of the number of installments, extension of the credit period, and lower lending rates. Not all the debtor get the restructuring offer, it depends on the problem that is faced and the debtor's business prospects.
