Family is the first school for a child to get education on character and good moral builders. As parents who instill the initial foundation for children to become human beings who have good character when living a life of socializing with the community, effective communication must be established between the child and the parents.

This study aims to determine the effect of parental negative communication on children's behavior patterns in Rembun Village. This study uses quantitative research methods with the aim of testing whether there is an effect of parental negative communication on children's behavior patterns in Rembun Village. The population is all adolescents in Rembun Village.

The sampling technique used refers to the Malhotra theory, so that the number of samples of children in Rembun Village. The results showed that (1) parental negative communication variables have a significant effect on children's anti-social behavior patterns. This is evidenced by the significant value of the negative communication variable people. (2) The pattern of children's behavior states that if the independent variable is declared constant or zero. (3) The regression coefficient value of Parents' Negative Communication has increased, so this will also result in an increase in the Anti-Social Behavior Pattern of Children. (4) The factors that lead to the formation of children's antisocial behavior patterns are (a) parents' mistakes in communicating with their children. In this case people tend to convey messages in an indirect way. (b) Actions of parents who tend to hit children when angry. (c) Children often have a parent's way of communication that raises their voice. (d) Children often get harsh words and acts of physical violence from their parents when the children make mistakes. (e) Children often get expressions of disappointment from their parents. (6) Children often get antipathy from their parents.
