The objectives of this study are (1) To know and analyze the DP3AP2KB communication strategy in Malang City through Advocacy and Community Education activities in the prevention of violence against women and children in the city of Malang. (1) Knowing and analyzing the inhibiting factors of the implementation of the communication strategy of DP3AP2KB Malang through community advocacy and education activities in the prevention of violence against women and children in the city of Malang.

The results of this study revealed that the stages of the communication strategy implemented by DP3AP2KB Malang in preventing cases of violence against women and children through advocacy and education activities were Knowing the Audience, Composing Messages, Establishing Methods, and Selecting and Using Media. Apart from the inhibiting factors DP3AP2KB Malang in communicating in preventing violence against women and children to the people in Malang through advocacy and education activities are the character and personality of the community, traditional community attitudes, determination of socialization schedules, and the existence of a community that tends to tend Isolated.
