This study aims to evaluate the performance of the Food Crops, Horticultural and Plantation Office of Malang Regency by using a balance scorecard to then create a strategic map and look at internal and external strategic issues so that it is expected to be an input to produce a more comprehensive activity strategy design.
In this study the authors used descriptive qualitative. The data used in this study are primary data obtained by interviews, documentation and observations on the performance of the Food Crops, Horticultural and Plantation Office of Malang Regency. Furthermore, the authors are processed through four stages of a balance scorecard, financial perspective, customer satisfaction perspective, internal process efficiency perspective, and learning and growth perspective.
The results showed that the results of the evaluation of the performance measurement of the Office of the Food Crops, Horticultural and Plantation Malang Regency in 2018 with the balance scorecard approach obtained very good results. It was obtained from internal and external performance which support and intertwine each other well in the
development of the Malang Regency agricultural sector.
