Analisis Pengaruh Jumlah Uang Beredar dan BI Rate Terhadap Inflasi di Indonesia Tahun 2015-2018 (CD + Cetak)
Inflation is an increase in prices of goods in general and applies continuously. Inflation is also the final target in the monetary policy framework. To be able to achieve the ultimate goal, it is necessary for central bank policy to determine direction. The BI rate is one of the variables that is able to control inflation because controlling inflation through the BI rate will affect the money supply so that it will affect inflation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the money supply and the BI rate on inflation in Indonesia in 2015-2018
This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. Data collection techniques through documentation techniques. The type of data used is the type of quantitative data and is sourced from secondary data from 2015-2018. This study shows that the BI rate has a significant effect on inflation, as evidenced by a regression coefficient of 0.579 and a significance level of 0,000. The amount of money having a negative and significant effect on inflation is evidenced by a regression coefficient of - 0.00000309 and a significance level of 0.014. In this study in 2015 - 2018 the BI rate has the most influence on inflation in Indonesia.
