This study aims to describe the income received by urban transport drivers before and after the existence of online-based transportation in Malang, East Java, analyze the differences in income of urban transport drivers before and after the existence of online-based transportation in Malang, East Java, and analyze which is greater income of city transportation drivers before or after online-based transportation in Malang. The analysis technique uses the average difference test.
The analysis shows that the income before online-based transportation with a range of respondents' income values was in the range of Rp. 97,000.00 to Rp. 117,500.00 per day with an average income of Rp. 106,067. The range of driver income after online-based transportation is around Rp. 22,000.00 up to Rp. 36,000.00 per day with an average income of Rp. 28,700. There is a significant difference in the level of income of drivers before and after the existence of online-based transportation. Based on the results of this study with 15 respondents, after online-based transportation, there was a decrease in income with an average decrease of Rp 77,367,000 per day. The average driver's income before the existence of online-based transportation was Rp. 106,067 greater than before the existence of online-based transportation, which was Rp. 28,700.
