This study is entitled "Investigation of the Abuse of Children committed (Study in the Pember Polres Unit in Jember). While the background of this research is the existence of acts of child abuse that occurred in Jember. This research was conducted to study the investigation process that followed the abuse carried out by children in the Jember Polres' jurisdiction specifically in the PPA Unit and opposed those conducting investigations of criminal acts of abuse committed by children in the Jember Polres jurisdiction. The research method used in this study uses empirical legal research that is by using observations in places where children are in conflict with the law conducted by the Jember Police PPA Unit. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews with the Jember Police Unit PPA and secondary data obtained through literature reference sources about the struggle law and data obtained from the Jember Police Unit PPA unit. The results of research which is research conducted by child abuse in the jember police area has not been carried out in accordance with Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Criminal Justice System for Children. Obstacles that oppose investigations in the process of investigating criminal acts of mistreatment carried out by children in the jurisdiction of the District Police. Authors' advice is necessary to conduct a judicial process training on children for investigators at the Jember Regional Police so that every case that requires children not only focused on Polrestabes, Polres can also help activate it in diversion. Government support in raising public awareness related to this diversion must be increased in the form of socialization.
