On the Job Training program is a program that helps students find some experiences in working world, especially from OJT place. This training program can brace the students to compete better in the real working world. During OJT program, the writer was trained as a translator at Radar Malang. Translator is a part of online division at Radar Malang. Translator is in charge on translation work, translating Indonesian article into English article. The problem of being a translator is to make shorter version of articles in English version without leaving any facts. Translating Indonesian article to English version should be based on the facts written on Indonesian articles. While doing OJT program the writer needed to practice a lot of times to get used to journalism translation in which the result of the translation needs to be more interesting to attract many readers on Radar Malang website. Eventhough the writer faced such a problem, the writer could improve a lot and gain more knowledge about journalism. It is expected the writer can be a better worker that has a lot of translating and journalism experience, also can understand the working world better in the future. Thus, the writer can easily adapt with the condition in the working area.
