Global warming is one of the biggest problem in the world. Global warming is the
increase of Earth's average surface temperature due to the effect of greenhouse
gasses, such as carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels or from
deforestation, which trap heat that would otherwise escape from Earth. For reducing
the effect of global warming the scientists created sustainability development
program. Sustainability is the process to combine 3 primary parts: economical,
social, and environmental, together to make harmonious process. One of the part in
sustainability is sustainable houses. Sustainable houses is the building project that
need to fulfill many requirements such as: inexpensive, environmentally, green
material resources, self-satisfy building, 3R process (reduce, reuse, recycle).
Sustainable building will apply in Pakis District. Pakis District in the order of
Malang regency. Pakis chose because it have high number of pullution. It because
half of Pakis Area use for factories. Pakis government have a program to reduce the
number of pullution by building sustainable houses in pakis area.
