Hubungan Pola Asuh Otoriter Dengan Kepercayaan Diri Remaja Pengguna High Heels (CD+Cetak)
Convidence is an important aspect in enchancing the potential and assist in appearance so that each individual can customize the appearance with a her social environment. A child’s self-confidence can be affected by several factors, among others, one of which is ambodied in the form of family caregiving process. One if which is the authoritarian parenting where the child was raised by way of restrained, restricted, and less given the opportunity to speak.
Purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between authoritarian parenting with confidence high heels teen users. Populations that are used in this research is a social science student at the faculty of political and economic of Merdeka University of Malang class of 2011 and 2012 were aged between 19 of 21 years, amounting to 246 people and a sample of 50 people. Sample using incidental random sampling. Methods of data collection using a Likert scale to the scale of authoritarian parenting scale and confidence with the details of authoritarian parenting scale and scale as much as 89 aitem confidence as much as 87 aitem. The process of data analysis used is the product moment correlation. Results for authoritarian parenting scale of 89 aitem made, totaling 85 aitem valid, while for the confidence scale aitem totaled 80 aitem valid. Test reliability for authoritarian parenting scale obtained 0,981, while the scale of the confidence gained 0,945 pounds count shows that r is grater than r table (-0,527> 0,279) with a significance level of 5% which indicates that there is a negative relationship between the direction of authotitarian parenting with confidence teenage users high heels, so that the initial hipothesis (Ha) is accepted.
