Anxiety to marry can be felt by anyone who wants to step on marriage. Anxiety in men is more pronounced in the presence of various consequences that must be faced in living a married life such as loss of autonomy, freedom, the experience of having a child and being a father. A man who has a positive self-concept then it will have a positive impact also on the idea of marriage, while men who have a negative self-concept then it will give a negative picture of the picture of a marriage. This study was conducted to determine whether there is a relationship between self concept with anxiety for Married at the beginning of adult men. The population in this study were adult male earlier in the gym and the general public, amounting to 20 595 people. The samples were grown men start erasal of Malang aged 25 to 40 years as many as 100 people. Sampling using purposive sampling. The process of data analysis used are Pearson product moment correlation. Results for the anxiety scale of 33 to marry aitem made, as much as 29 aitem valid. As for the self-concept scale of 28 aitem made, as much as 26 valid aitem aitem. Reliability calculations anxiety to marry obtained reliability coefficient 0.921 and self-concept variables obtained coefficient value 0.888. Where two numbers are according to the rules stated reliability is very reliable on anxiety variables for married and reliable on the self-concept variables. Results of data analysis showed that the count r is greater than r table (-0.507)> (-0.195) with a significance level of 0.05, which indicates that there is a negative relationship between self-concept and anxiety in adult men to marry early, so that the working hypothesis (ha) which states there is a relationship between self-concept and anxiety in adult men to marry early.
