The hypothesis of this study is that there are differences in terms of marital satisfaction
husbands spousal educational level, marital satisfaction which wives with husbands who have
lower education of a different husband who has a wife with a husband that higher levels of
education than the husband. The sample used in this study were residents Singosari Malang who
live in the area Singosari-sex male and have been married (husband). King Herry based nomogram
table, with a population that reached 1510, the sample size is 230. Methods of data collection
using a Likert scale to scale with the number of Marital Satisfaction aitem 54. To calculate the
validity and authenticity of any existing aitem on Marriage Satisfaction scale, researchers using
Pearson Product Moment Correlation. Based on the results of test calculations aitem validity of the
marital satisfaction of husbands as much as 54 aitem obtained 51 valid aitem and 3 aitem fall, the
coefficients are valid moves from 0.611 to 0.829 coefficient aitem autumn moves from 0.157 to

0.280. Reliability test results of the two variables by using the formula of Cronbach's Alpha
showed Cronbach alpha of 0.983, meaning that alpha reliability test for these variables is said to be
the husband marital satisfaction scale is very reliable with the provisions of the reliability
coefficient greater than 0.8, then this measure is very high reliabelnya . Based on the analysis of
