The study was aimed to observed the influence of laughter therapy to the burnout of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang 3rd grade students. Burnout is one of a psychological problem of students who will facing The Last Exam. Tight schedule and tensity while preparing for the Last Exam could be the cause of the burnout problems. That’s why students need some kind of special intervention such as therapy to overcome it. The attention to the physical and psychological condition of the student is necessary in this case. Generally, the students and the people around them tend to ignoring such condition. One of the complementary therapy for students in such condition is Laughter Therapy. Laughter Therapy is a simple therapy that possibly done anywhere and anytime. Peaceful and happily situation from the therapy hopefully would work for burnout reduction. The situation would work with using humor by one student to another. This study was aimed to observed, is there any burnout reduction to the 3rd grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang because of the Laughter Therapy. The subjects were 10 students of XII IPS SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. The therapy was held 10 times with 30-40 minutes duration per each. Data collecting method to the burnout used Guttman scale method (dichotomy); pretest scale and posttest scale with 60 items per scale. The validity test used point biserial correlation where it showing that both scale are reliable. Quantitative data analysis used T-test showing that the hypothesis is accepted. Learning from the result, it can be concluded that there are significant decrement of burnout to the experiment group before and after the therapy. It means that The Laughter Therapy could decrease the students burnout in facing the last exam.
