Pengaruh Goal Setting Terhadap Self-Efficacy Pada Gamers (CD + Cetak)
Self Efficacy is the belief that an individual's ability manifested in the
form of assessment (personal judgment) of an individual's ability to organize and
reenact plans necessary to achieve problem resolution. Goal setting is a
modification of selected numbers of tasks that have been sorted in such a way as
to match the design of individual or collective. Gamers generally spend as much
time as 15-30 hours / week, video games have a variety of levels and challenges
that can be categorized as goal setting.
The research was conducted to determine the magnitude of the effect of
Goal Setting toward Gamers Self Efficacy. Subjects in this study is that
consumers / operators of video games as many as 60 subjects. Sampling technique
utilized accidental sampling. Research data collection method used goal setting
scale consisting of 60 item and self-efficacy scale, adapted from the General Self
Efficacy Scale by Schwarzer & Jerusalem. Testing the validity of the scale
resulting in an 8 invalid goal setting item and there are 52 valid item with a
moving correlation coefficient between 0.255 to 0.713. Reliability test results
showed a correlation coefficient value of 0.916, which means the scale of goal
setting in this study are reliable. The results of data analysis showed that Fhitung
(28.664)> Ftabel (4.00) then the regression results indicate that the higher goal
setting, the higher self-efficacy. R2 values indicate the results using correlation
coefficient 0.331 * 100% = 33.1%, so it can be concluded that goal setting has a
contribution of 33.1% of Gamers self-efficacy.
