Every person who wants to get married should have the preparation in facing the
future of marriage. Marriage which has its own requirements in terms of
requirements such as law, religion and culture. Marriage is a sacred bond between
a man and a woman before God and witnesses to obtain happiness and eternal bliss
in the offspring continue legally. In conducting marriages each partner wants to
feel the satisfaction of marriage with a spouse, children and couples around the
whole family. All the experience that is felt suyektif during the marriage because
of all the hopes and desires that obtained in the mean with marital satisfaction. If
all requirements can be done then the marriage can be done, marriage customs in
eastern Flores has an ivory condition. Every couple who has not paid the dowry
will feel the burden and less respected in the family, especially families or wives.
A large dowry to make debt pasanga psychological distress and passed on to the
next generation. This study showed no difference in marital satisfaction between
couples who have not got a dowry and dowry. Dowry marriage does not affect
satisfaction, there are other factors more powerful influence of a dowry. It is the
adjustment factor with partner, sexual adjustment, financial adjustment and
alignment with the partner's family. This study addressed the marital satisfaction of
couples who have not received a higher dowry than psangan who have got a
dowry. Marital satisfaction was not significant, because it could be a couple who
had also felt the satisfaction of marriage dowries are higher. Therefore the partners
must improve the quality of relationships between individuals in order to feel the
satisfaction of marriage and all couples find all expectations and goals are built
with the couple desires can be achieved and felt.
