OJT Program is a program to equip students to gain work experience and more working abilities. By implementing OJT programs, the students can prepare to work in the future. The writer chose Terminal Ticket Malang as the place of doing OJT because this place is the biggest travel and tour agents in Malang. In this place the writer was assigned as an administrator. Because she did activities focusing on all office administration, the writer entitled her final report " Conducting Administrative Work at Terminal Ticket Malang”.
Basically the writer did three main jobs; observing the location and administration activities such filling letters, inputting data base, working as a cashier, and conducting farewell meeting. During two month OJT at TTM the writer got several advantages, and D-III English Program has reached its targets (promoting D-III English program and building relationship with company). As an administrator at TTM, the writer found the internal problems (having lack of knowledge to input the data base, lack of administration skill and the performance) and the external problems (activities using the database system).
Based on the writer’s working experience at TTM, she has some suggestions: (1) D-III English Program; should oblige the students to comprehend the English translation skills and to give more administration lesson, (2) Terminal Ticket; should clarify the job position and separate call centre room from manager room, (3) the readers, can enhance their knowledge in English ability. The writer hopes that D-III English Program can improve the better education system for their students in the future.
