Diploma III English Program Merdeka University holds On the Job Training Program (OJT) that gives the job practice to the students to face the rapid changes in the society, especially among the job seekers. The OJT program provides the students with opportunity to experience real working environment through different disciplines, such as, banking, tourism, administration, including the teaching of English as a third language itself. The main objective of this program is to have students of D-III English program escape themselves from the shock of real working atmosphere as soon as they graduate and to obtain job for themeselves. So, it is very important to select the proper places for OJT. During OJT Program the writer was assigned at Pisang Candi 3 Elementary School as an Assistant English Teacher. The writer chose Pisang Candi 3 Elementary School as OJT place because she wanted to be a teacher. As an assistant English teacher the writer replaced the English Teacher to teach English in 1st grade until 6th grade. When the writer was an assistant English teacher she found two problems. First, she was lack of teaching techniques of English subject. Second, she was lack of skills to handle hyperactive children. In the final report the writer chose title” Participative Learning Teaching Tehniques to Teach English Vocabulary at Pisang Candi 3 Elementary School” because the tehniques is compatible to teach there with the hyperactive and lazy students. According to the writer, OJT Program can be means of self adjustment process to build a good work and give the students chances to apply their skills in the real work. The writer expects that D-III English Program can enhance the educational system for better graduates in the future
