In creating flowerpot product by utilizing paper scrap it is required a substance strength test therefore the product yielded is achieving the researcher’s desire that is the product that in expensive in the resources but have the strength that almost the same as the other flowerpot product.
Therefore, to know the correct composition in making flowerpot, the researcher conducted a substance strength test of 3 different composition had ben determined. The 3 composition that have been determined shall be as follows.
a. The A composition consisted of 100gr of paper scrap and 5ml Resin
b. The B composition consisted of 100gr of paper scrap and 10ml Resin
c. The C composition consisted of 100gr of paper scrap and 15ml Resin
The substance strength test conducted by releasing dowmward 1 to 5 kg burden at 0,5m height gradually toward the substance, the substance that can undertake the heaviest burden is the substance that has best strength.
The dercriptive test result toward the flowerpot show that has the better strength is the C composition, that is consist of :
It has the best strength and can hold the burden up to 5 kg.
