Facing the imminent free trade and globalization era, the level of competition in real work is getting higher. Based on the reality the students should have a good value of the graduates. So, for this reason DIII English Program conducts On the Job Training (OJT) as one of their programs.
The implementations of OJT, the writer has done her OJT in PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) Delta Artha Kencana Malang for two months. During the OJT period the writer had experienced in real work life, and the writer can learn many things about banking system especially in customer service section. In this report the writer are interested to make The Role of Customer Service in Acquiring More Customers as the main report. It is expected to make the students ready to face problem. In the work world, it is known that there are many complicated problems, because of that the students must be creative in searching solution in order to handle problems immediately. The writer was hard to adapt the new working environment but she finally could overcome such situation. Other problems were the languages used by the customers make the writer hard to understand their needs and she had no banking knowledge.
At last the writer think that the OJT program is very beneficial program for the students of DIII English Program, and for the society itself. This program will brings all parties to the better work life style which is could be more professional in the future. Because of its important the writer thinks that the D-III English Program should give a special attention to this program achievement.
