The globalization and the world changing make the competition in working life becomes harder. Based on this reality, students should have something better than other competitors if they want to be the winner. For this matter, D-III English Program of Merdeka University Malang conducts On the Job Training (OJT) Program for its students.
In the OJT implementation, the writer has done her OJT in The Jack’s Terrace Restaurant the Taman Dayu Club for two months (on June 1st – July 31st 2006). In her OJT, the writer found new experience about the real working life and everything about golf, especially as waiter in F&B Department. In her report, the writer is interested to discuss the importance of knowing menu and function order. Because the writer is sure that it can be the important things in order to create guests’ satisfaction, especially for restaurant.
The writer thinks that On the Job Training (OJT) Program is very benefical program for the students of D-III English Program of Merdeka University Malang. Since it can make its students be more professional in the future. In fact, On the Job Training (OJT) brings all parties to the better work life style. Therefore, the writer hopes that D-III English Program of Merdeka University Malang will give more attention to this program achievement
