The world is becoming more globalize there is no doubt about that. While the sound promising, the current from of globalization, neoliberalism, free trade and open market are coming under much critism. The interest of powerful nations and corporations are shaping the terms of world trade. In democratic countries, they are shaping and affecting the ability of elected leaders to make decisions in the interests of their people. Elsewhere they are promoting narrow political discourse and even supporting dictatorships and the ability that brings them. This has determined most people in the world, while increasingly fewer people in proportion are prospering.
The globalization era which is made more unavoidable by the establishment of AFTA 2003 and World Free Trade era has indicated that the global change in which the geographical border does not play an important role anymore. It can be said that people more mobile, they can go anywhere they want. This certainly brings some consequences. First, people will socially tend to be united in taste, perspective and way of life. People will be less aware of the individual differences such as ethnic background, nationality, religion and so on. People will become more citizens of the world.
Second, economically there will be a drastic change due to larger competition between countries. When the market is free, there will happen the principle “The Survival The Fittest” meaning that only those who manage to compete will survive.
