With television media, easily audiences know all kinds of needed information. In general Run Text can be interpreted as brief message or news which walking under screen of television, in this case Metro TV representing the first time making to display. With existence of text running, audience expected can know information which underway at the time without having to too old a wait by beforehand look on news event. Because, Running Text represent a brief info hence, adequate text running enough or do not in obtaining information and with text running can motivation audience to look on furthermore to news.

The research method used is qualitative method research, while research type used is descriptive research. While analysis technique used is method of survey. Method of survey represent gathering method 'primary data' by obtaining it directly from source of in research field. Data collecting or information and fact in field directly through interview either through oral and also written needing the existence of contact looked in the face (face to face contact) between researcher with the responder (subject)

Such as those which have been known by journalistic initially only recognized in media print (printed media), especially in the form of daily newspaper. But, along with growth of technology and science hence journalistic also experience of improvement, what initializing can only be found in mass media print by now can meet in electronic mass media of is including here is television. In the reality at the moment text running, can be told as new form of television journalistic which initializing only relying on a reader’s news and in the reality existing info in adequate text running enough to audience later on earn at the same time as motivation to look on furthermore to news.
