The monitoring of Komodo's behaviour and ecology (CD)
Komodo National park has perfect natural resources and several types of flora and fauna both on land and at sea. These varieties become a specific characteristic of Komodo National Park, including the biggest lizard in the world that is Komodo (Varanus Komodoensis) which is found only in Komodo Island, Indonesia.
This OJT program allows OJT participants to get new knowledge and experience that is working world. Beside it will lead students to have more preparation in facing free trade 2007 and more participation to collaborate their ability with English. This program is also very useful for D3 English Program and institution where students conduct OJT, because it will lead to closer relationship between the college and the related institutions. Furthermore, it will also be very useful for common people because they indirectly will recognize educational and communication world as stated by the writer.
In facing free trade 2007, there will be some advantages gained from tourism and communication sectors. In tourism sector, for example, it is much needed to have some skillful and professional staff that will be positioned as leaders to train their subordinates. All D3 English Program graduates, therefore, will have equal opportunities in competing and gaining position as professional leaders. One of public tourism institutions that is potential to compete on free trade 2007 is Komodo National Park which is located West Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.
The second possible cause is that population of older Komodo that died. Finally, the number of edible foods for Komodo such as deer, boar, buffalo and other, are also decreasing. In the case, writer would like to express gratitude for being placed at Komodo National Park area as the place to conduct his On the Job Training, because it allowed him to directly observe today’s Komodo population. This OJT program gave positive effect to the writer, in which he could gain a lot of new knowledge and experiences on working world at Komodo National Park.
