The topic of this thesis is “EOQ Method Appliement As An Effective Planning And Controlling Materials Stocks Tools In Order To Make Smooth Production Process At The Cologne Tissue Company “Cool Clean” Malang”. The problem of the topic is how is the effective planning and controlling materials stocks in order to make smooth production at the “Cool Clean” company Malang.
In order to do problem analysis, some method which is also use for analysis and processing data was used. The planning and controlling material at the “Cool Clean” company malang can be done trough some steps, which are:
1. calculation by using Economic Order Quality (EOQ)method, based onmaterials needs data, stocks cost, order cost from the company, so that, for the next, the calculation can be count by using EOQ method which is used for comparison by using EOQ method discount.
2. calculation by using Economic Order Quantity Discount(EOQ Discount) method, based on the discount list data which is given from the supplier to the company, so that the calculation can be count with the steps started from the price per unit in small number to the large number
the result of the analysis by using EOQ method, EOQ Discount method and stocks management in the company are:
1. by using EOQ method = Rp 395.089.189,-
2. by using EOQ Discount method = Rp 297.624.886,-
3. by using company management = Rp 395.518.800,-
so that, the company is able to use EOQ Discount method, because of EOQ Discount can reduce stocks cost and more effective for the company in order to fullfill the tissue raw materials needs.
