Recently, hotel becomes an important part in human’s live. Many people start using hotel to carry out their business. However, this condition must be carefully made use by all hotel in Indonesia. They must raise their value by showing their best in service and products. Besides, professionalism is also required to give best service to their guest.
According to the writer’s opinion, professionalism is very important to accompany us in the world of work. The essence of professionalism is skillful and ability in carrying all kind of duties. It means, as a staff of hotel, he/she must be able to carry out his/her duties very well. In short, professionalism is condition, in which some one is forced to be skillful and able to carry out all his duties.
Herewith, the writer raises the professionalism as his main topic in his final report. During On the job training (OJT), he observed that some staff in House Keeping Department at Finna Golf and Country Club Resort Pandaan worked unprofessionally. That is why, the writer was much attracted to raise this topic because professionalism is very important to help us to accomplish our duties.
Some staff at Finna Golf still need to be well trained and provisioned with ample product knowledge of the company. He knew that some staff could not give best service to their guest due to their lackness in mastering company’s product knowledge.
These following information will much informed the reader about product knowledge of a hotel particularly in Front office and House Keeping Department.
