PT. Kertas Leces (Persero) is second oldest paper mill in Indonesia. This company was built on 1939 and operated on December 22nd, 1940. This paper mill has 5 unit paper machines and the width of this paper mill about 65 Ha. The numbers of the employees are 2994 people.
The writer chooses “The Role of Training Program to Develop human Resource at PT. Kertas Leces (Persero) – Probolinggo” as her title because in this company there were many the employees who graduate from the low educational level. Besides, the writer wants to create the employee who has more skills in some division and the writer want to this company has the employee who has good quality.
The students doing On the Job Training program to prepare the mentality of the students before the writer exist in working world. Furthermore, the OJT programs hold to give much experience to the students.
In this part, the writer wants to explain about PT. Kertas Leces (Persero) at Probolinggo. In this company, the writer work in Human Resource Department as staff training officer. As long as the writer work in this company, every twice a week the writer thought the employee at PT. Kertas Leces (Persero). Beside, thought the employee, the writer made summarize of “Career Planning”.
The writer suggests that the reader more know about PT. Kertas Leces (Persero). In addition, the writer want to the public more know how the process of making the paper.
