The important sector can which still to walk for to add, most of grade state income there is in the grade tourism sector. Tourism sector build course on the degree tourism as industry which can hope to increase activity economy to pass activity. Which to make to be able in the job field, so that income community, income territory, and of course only income which the stat can to put be grade.
In this globalization era have competition at job in world. Many people have to need jobs, but it is just a few jobs in the field. So competitions on the jobs become very tight. The students had his training experience as Room Maid in House Keeping duty is very important for a hotel. Therefore the writer chooses a title “The importance of speed and skill in cleaning room for room maid and room boy at Gajah Mada Graha Hotel Malang”. The target of the OJT to compare the theory students get in their study and practice in real work. OJT has some significance it is for preparing their mentality to be ready for work life.
Malang is a charming, bustling city, with a richness of beautiful scenery. There are many interesting places in Malang. It is caused by Malang as a tourism sector being arrowed as an industry sector with support the economy side from it is activity that can create work field. So that, peoples income, district income and of course, the foreign bill of our country can be increased. One of the biggest devisa supplier is Hotel. Hotel is one of tourism industry’s part which move in guest serving activity physically and psychologically, even in safety through it is serve and its facility. It is work oriented in Hospitality industry which based on it is friendly activity in guest serving. In hotel have many department. Especially is House Keeping Department. The meaning of Housekeeping in Indonesian language is usually called as “Tata Graha”. ‘Tata Graha’ comes from the word ‘Tata’ means managing and ‘Graha’ means house, motel or hotel. The problem in there, the trainee did not have special skills and speed in cleaning the room
The students choose the title, because the problem in there, the trainee did not have special skills and speed in cleaning the room, so that trainees did not understand how to work in House Keeping Department.
During the writer’s study in D3 of English Program UNMER Malang, she could not speak English well, because she only got some theories in campus. In Fact, the studied language in campus is very different from the used one in practice. Grammar is key factor of the writer’s obstacles. The writer would give several suggestions to the reader in general, such as: solidarity and communication are most important in order to reach the success in a work.
