In the world of loaded education always of information . Where the information submitted through immeasurable media, one of them is pasteboard. Pasteboard always there at school and or college. And generally pasteboard found on school or college usually permanent ( patch at wall). Same as the things of with the pasteboard found on faculty of engineering, industrial engineering majors .
As for the pasteboard only have one just function that is as information medium, becoming other constraint the pasteboard cannot be moved as according to its requirement. Model / its for lose looks and still a lot of the other insuffiency. For that utilize to fulfill requirement of consumer from the pasteboard, researcher design a new pasteboard by using value engineering method . The target is boost up the function from product of pasteboard and expense minimization.
Research methodologies used in this research is study literature, analysis the requirement of early covering activity do the analysis to existing product to know any kind of insuffiency from the product, collecting cover the questions from consumer, survey market represent product and concerning raw material price, production cost and product cost, anthropometri that is about dimension of consumer body to be made as dimension from device product.
After conducted gathering from some file and from file conducted a calculation, hence obtained result that from 3 design alternative proposed and old design product after compared to be selected design of proposal alternative 2 with the biggest value VE (Value Engineering) and expense released for the production of smallest, that is assess the Value Engineering of equal to 0,000756 with the production cost of equal to Rp. 234.500
