Analisa efisiensi pengendalian persediaan dengan menggunakan EOQ variable demand constant leadtime pada perusahaan shuttlecock pyramid Nganjuk (CD)
Shuttlecock Pyramid is a repetitive flow shop manufacturer which has a make to stock business. It produces shuttlecock as a main product.
The problem faced Shuttlecock Pyramid is overstock of raw materials, goose feathers and cork wood. The heaping raw materials so that can improve stock holding cost. And than precisely in order is not good to production process,caused happen to less than raw material. The inventory planning and control method still uses intuition and it cannot optimize total inventory cost yet. It needs a better inventory strategy to control order quantity and stock average.
See above problems seen by that arrangement of requirement of material most importence, is so that needed by a raw material inventory method. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) with Variable Demand Constant Leadtime to choise as method to finish problem of inventory planning and control with needed fluctuating (probabilistic), good on order raw materials as well as in optimize total inventory cost.
From result of research and data processing by using EOQ Variable Demand Constant Leadtime, obtained for goose feathers and cork wood sum up its his economic ordering 38.988 feathers and 2.616 seed, frequency ofordering 47 times and 44 times in one year, frequency during grace period 4 times ,apart times usher ordering 7 day, reorder point 30.599 feathers and 752,4 seed, and also total cost equal to Rp. 2.461.050,84 and Rp. 833.242,61. From result total cost that by using EOQ Variable Demand Constant Leadtime more minimize total inventory cost in one year which from the beginning Rp. 5.680.000,- and Rp. 2.298.625,-.
