Television as one part of mass media have some influence to audience life. One of program which is in television is telecinema of Tangisan Anak Tiri. In telecinema, stepmother described as a cruel buttonhole, and brutish specially to its stepchild. As for problem to be lifted from phenomenon telecinema and its bearing with the audience perception is what the influence of stepmother construction at telecinema of Tangisan Anak Tiri to audience perception.
This research aim to know the influence of stepmother construction at telecinema of Tangisan Anak Tiri to audience perception. This research can add the knowledge, and also public understanding of concerning role which is there are in telecinema which is more or less influencing patterned thinking socialize.
This research use the quantitative descriptive approach. By taking research location at Senior High School Krian 1, Sidoarjo. Population are student of Senior High School Krian 1, while amount sample in this research are 88 people by using technique of random sampling.
From this research is got a result that is cultivation theory used in this research have as according to research result. Stepmother construction at telecinema of Tangisan Anak Tiri have an effect on the significant to audience perception. There is influence of stepmother construction at telecinema of Tangisan Anak Tiri to audience perception with the percentage of equal to 2,12 %, while the rest of equal to 97,88 % influenced by other dissimilar variable.
