Megawati Sukarnoputri dalam frame SCTV : analisis framing program dialog SCTV wawancara bersama Megawati (CD)

Background of this thesis is about mass media (SCTV) has chance to communicate with Megawati in camphange period. As we have seen in that dialogue, Megawati used to choose “silent is golden” as her communication style, in her governmental era. But in that dialogue, Bayu Sutiyono, the SCTV interviewer seems to ask some forcing questions, so that she answered emosionally. The questions are not find vision and mission of that camphange, even concern of her governance. In other word, this program was created in the media point of view. From this background the problem is, how the “Wawancara dengan Megawati” dialogue, framed by SCTV.
Purpose of this study is finding out, how SCTV framed the dialogue program “Wawancara dengan Megawati” uses Gamson and Modigliani model.
This study is descriptif reseach analyze, because using descriptif approach proxy to interpretate data, and qualitative methode to analyze data. Researcher focuses this study in the question format as a verbal code and visual language as nonverbal code whice combined in this program. Collecting data is using the script and video recording of that dialogue. Analyze by reading all script and visual language then categorized it as the framing equiptment from Gamson and Modigliani model.
Packaging of this dialogue, consist of; Media Package, Core Frame, Framing Devices, and Reasoning Devices which created by SCTV after researcher has been interpretated a kind of data from the dialogue program.
Based on Gamson and Modigliani analyze that has been completed by researhcer, the conclusion is SCTV has framed this program which refer to Megawati’s behaviour, that she has weakness communication with public, while she communicated her policies to all of the citizen, during her governance. This problem makes “Un Friendly Conduct” between Megawati and media.
