The Promotion Strategies to Increase Tourist Visits of Kampung Kayutangan (CD + Cetak)
Tourism right now become an industry that could compete with oil and gas industry. In a future Tourism in Indonesia is predicted will become one of the main sources for National income. In East Java, Malang is popular as a tourism city. The most popular tourism object in Malang city is Kampung Tematik. There are eleven Kampung Tematik in Malang city and of them is Kampung Kayutangan. Kampung Kayutangan is the only one original tourism Object heritage in Malang city. This is the place where all of Malang people live in colonial era.
Since become official tourism object heritage Kampung Kayutangan always develop their place. The only problem that they have right now is promotion. They still using traditional way to do a promotion. Kampung Kayutangan needs a better strategic promotion to increase tourist visit. The promotion that they have need to be modern and practice through mix promotion.
